Starbright the wonder of the dream, Alight with the glow of magic, As the moonchild sleeps, Carried on golden wings, To sing among the heavens,
Across the great oceans of stars, Adrift on the greatest voyage, As the moonchild sleeps, Held tight in loving hearts, A light to shine the way,
Wandering the vast gardens, Where time holds no passing, As the moonchild sleeps, Where flowers a rainbow, The grass welcome green,
Into the towering wilderness, A song among the trees, As the moonchild sleeps, Eyes aglow with hope, For treasures yet to be,
Racing with the winds, Across the endless deserts, As the moonchild sleeps, Among the sparkling of gems, That kaleidoscope of colour,
Bathed in the seas of the moon, Free of all earthly burdens, As the moonchild sleeps, Touched only by the lullaby, Carried on the lips of angels,
Aboard machines without age, Onward that grand adventure, As the moonchild sleeps, Given the joy to be, Forever held so warm,
Of all the tales to be told, The mysteries to be sought, As the moonchild sleeps, Ever the curious a child, An endless wander to find,
There along the shores of time, All that will ever come to be, As the moonchild sleeps, In that sweet by and by, Where the dream to be eternal.
